Coming to London for a long weekend. I want to go to fabric shops in Goldhawk Road, near Shepherds Bush on the Saturday. We will be driving in from St Albans direction probably down the M1 then the A409 towards Ealing. What would be the best idea, should we park somewhere and get a tube or is there parking near Shepherds Bush. There are two of us so what would be the cheapest option, was thinking two return fares on the tube might be more expensive than 3hrs parking but then I don't know how expensive parking is. Don't mind walking if there is anywhere to park free within a mile or so of Shepherds bush. Any advice gratefully received.
