There's an overview of each London Borough here http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/boroughs/ with property prices. That could be useful too. Generally speaking east and south will be cheaper than north and west. Places that are on a train line rather than a tube line also tend to be a bit cheaper so may be worth looking at that too.
