Parking outside of London - South West

Following on from the earlier post, I'm coming into London from the South West on the M3 and would like to park somewhere near a main train line.

I'm heading for Battersea Park and then on to central London.

Any suggestions?

What about Richmond? There's a big ncp car park behind the tube/rail station.
