I'm sure you probably get asked this question lots of times but i'll ask again anyway! Basically, I am looking to relocate to London for work. I do not want to live in London itself. I am looking for advice on places to live that has easy access to London (probably the City area or Canary Wharf). I ideally do not want to be travelling for more than 1 hour door to door.
I have a wife and 6 month old child, so obviously things like childcare (eventually schooling), places to go at weekends etc will be an important factor.
I will be earning around about £35k a year, whilst my wife is a nurse so will probably earn around 25k a year.
Taking the above into consideration which areas would be suitable for me to look at moving to? Also any other things worth taking into account?
Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated, as I do not have any ideas so far!
