Read an article that said chicken sandwiches are the most popular. I tend to go for different varieties every day of the week. You?

Will generally go for a Chicken based sandwich, I think chicken lends itself very well to being in a sandwich.

Chicken tends to taste good either hot or cold so is probably why it's so popular. Cold beef tastes bad in a sandwich, as does lamb. Prawn sandwiches are nice but I tend to stay away due to food poisoning risks.

Cheese sandwiches can be a mixed bag, I'd only buy a cheese sandwich if it was from M&S as you'll get good cheese, nothing ruins a cheese sandwich more than cheap low-grade cheese.

Just my 2 cents :)

Unless they are made freshly and you eat them within a few minutes cheese buties are a no-no... they go all sweaty particularly with salad. Cheese and pickle, simple, but a classic.

Do hot sandwhiches count? If so anything with melted cheese does it.

Or, a hot bacon, sausage and egg sandwhich with plenty of ketchup.

Three of them a day have made me the man that I am today. I love the angina, I really do.

I don't think hot sandwiches count Eddie - that opens up a whole other debate, one we don't have time for.

bacon and cheese is always a winner.

Tuna is also a great sandwich filler, best as a weekend sandwich, hard to shake the smell during the week.
