Have decided to move --- now freaking out

Hi everyone - just joined today as doing some heavy research on everything London! I am 21 yrs old - currently living on the Gold Coast, Australia and for some reason I woke up 4 weeks ago and I am now wanting to move to London alone - the excitement has gone and now fear has fully settled in!
I definitely want to move....just maybe hearing some reassurance from people who actually live there or who have done what I am doing?

Well I did think of doing that but I live on my own here e.t.c and if I am going to save a bit of money to firstly fund me getting there and spending money (which paying all the bills on my own is taking me a while!!) - I thought I might as well do the whole thing ....I mean, I guess if I don't like it over there, Australia isn't going anywhere...

Given that there are so many Australians here already, I'd say that it must be pretty good and the Aussie clan must feel at home here... there are loads of Aussie-themed nights, bars, events, etc... so you couldn't get homesick if you tried :) It's an amzing city and I'm sure you'll love it as much as the rest of us do!!
