Tube stations with parking near the A40

Hi

I'm planning on traveling down to see a show next Saturday and plan to drive to the outskirts of the city and then catch a tube in. I'll be coming in from the M40 and then onto the A40, can anyone advise me on a good station to use with parking open till late? Someone suggested Hillingdon?

Also what time does the tube run till? The show doesn't finish till 2245hrs so I'll need to get back to the car...

Hey Scoutts,

I reckon your best bet would be West Ruislip or Eastcote. Take the Polish War Memorial Roundabout exit (for Northolt) off the A40 then at the next crossroads take a right. About 200m up the road on the left handside is West Ruislip station, there is parking just opposite or there is loads of parking in the nearby streets.

As for getting home: if you leave central London at 11:30pm you'll have plenty of time. Although tubes should run til about midnight back to here. W. Ruislip is a fast run into central London on the Central Line.
