Porsche Hire in London

Hi all,

I'm looking to hire a Porsche for a few days this summer as a birthday present to myself.

I've been looking around but can't find any places in London that do it. The only one I've found requires you to be over 30 to hire a Boxster! I'm only 26 so id anyone knows where I could hire one it'd be appreciated. Porsche Boxsters or 911s ideally.

cheers
Rob

Hi Rob,

Nice to see another Porsche fan. I've hired a few Boxsters in London before and also had trouble finding a decent company who can insure you if you're under 30.

I assume you're talking about Guy Salmon, they want you to be over 30 to hire a Boxster, I hate to think what the age limit would be if they got hold of a Ferrari or Lambo!

The company I've used is Prestige Car Hire www.prestigecarhire.co.uk. They've got some great cars but you're talking real money if you want the super cars. The Boxsters I had from them were great, excellent condition and high-spec. They're based in Edgware and are a decent company who know what they're doing.

When hiring these kinds of cars you have to carry a pretty big insurance excess, so be careful with it.

You could always get one of those "driving experience" deals if you'd rather not have the risk but they're a bit lame in comparison and you don't get to burn MR2s and Z3s off the lights Cool Dude

Cheers,
Mogwai

Howdi,

Try www.cityinterrent.com

I've had a Merc and a Mini from these guys, they're good and they got Porches.

Have a good one!

I have tried sincura and was not disappointed on the set-up. They got a great line of cars to choose from. Next time, try to check them.
