Ever heard of the FREE, Super Duper, Solar Powered, GPS Tracked, Digital Displaying, CCTV Controlling, All knowing Litter bin ?

Ha, i spotted it first! at least i think i did.
Apparently they are to replace all bins in london,

I don't get it either - where is the point to bins that light up? Presumably, even if they do work off solar power, this type of bin will use more energy in its manufacture than comparable 'standard' ones..so not even that good news from a green perspective. :bangin:

i did a little research, apparently, the bins are made from used supermarket plastic bags and everything else on them is recycled.

I am not saying i get excited by bins, but i think its interesting as there is a shortage of litter bins in London.
