Hi all...in need of a little advice.

Met this lovely colombian girl who hasn't lived in london for long and hasn't experienced it...she want's to try english cuisine so i've considered taking her to the bar and kitchen in waterloo...havn't been there yet but would any of you recommend it? after was thinking head to the london eye and enjoy the southbank, then head to a club (preferably not too far from waterloo)...question is...which club?! preferably one which is spacious and has good live music (rock, house) i was considering heaven but heard it's gone down hill recently...any advice is much appreciated!

Hey there MisterR22...

A date hey, exciting stuff... to give you a quick overview of what's local to Bar and Kitchen, take a look at this link for all the nearby pubs, bars and clubs:

http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/locator/index.php?locate=1935-1-2

The only place that you would describe as "clubby" around there is Mbibe and unfortunately no-one in the office has anyone experience of the place. I'm sure someone will chip in with some suggestions though.

All the best and good luck on the date :)

ooh, forgot...

If you're going for a wander around the Southbank area take a look at the venues in the following areas:

Southwark Venues

London Bridge Venues

... or cross the bridge to Blackfriars: Blackfriars Venues

Hope this helps...

All the best,

I don't think I would want to go to a club on a first date, but then that could just be me being a boring poop.

The only rock clubs I know are up Tottenham Court Road way and North, so dont think you will have luck that way there.
