Ahh dunno. Wednesday isnt it? Dunno. I've missed all the fireworks so far. Haven't seen one. I can hear them though.

I have seen a few , for want of a better word, chavs, with a doll dressed up in a tracksuit asking for money!! "penny for the guy" ---i think they have turned that tradition into something rli horrible- they hang around outside pertrol stations- anybody else seen that??

Yeah i saw a group of them at the petrol station aswell getting moved by the police asusual. My they annoy me!!

I loveee sparklers too :party: gotta remember to get some aswell now and i need to find a place where they have a good fireworks display

Man I fogot all about penny for the guy. They used to do it when I was a kid.

What's the point in penny for the guy? what was meant to originaly happen with the pennies? I knw the guy is supposed to get lobbed onto the fire... Which is actually kind of twisted when you think about it lol. I like how Guy Fawkes has been twisted into this figure of villainy. Yeah he was gonna blow up the houses of parliament, but do people know why? Gots to see it from all the views, not just what we're told.
