Hi everyone. I'm a new member and was hoping for some advice and feedback. I would like to arrange a birthday party for my daughter in 2 weeks time. she will be 2 years old and her friends are of a similar age. Ideally I would like somewhere in south west london. I wonder if anyone has any suggestions and also places to avoid. Not sure what I should be thinking of regarding budget, it's all a bit of a blur. Just don't think I have the space at home and would love my daughter to be able to invite friends from nursery.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Cathf,
My daughter is 19 months so I can appreciate that having a whole bunch of similar aged children in your home isn't exactly ideal!! I wonder if you've heard of Eddie Catz? They have a couple of branches (one near Wimbledon and one near Putney) and although I haven't been, have noticed that they have really well-organised events for children and also have play areas, etc which I reckon would be available for private hire..it looks really clean on their website. I've been meaning to go to check it out, so if you do know anything about them yourself I'd be interested to hear your views too.

Here's a link to the Wimbledon one with contact details.

Good luck!

Oooh - just heard of another great place too - the Polka Theatre in Wimbledon. It's specifically for children, they have a great play area as well as the theatre show itself (with dressing up boxes, toys, etc.) and hold shows designed specifically for different age groups. Only 10 mins walk from the station - perfect!

This will be old now but for anyone else looking, there is also Coffee and Crayons on Fulham Rd. They do great birthday parties - arrange all food, entertainment etc. You can also just go there for coffee/lunch while your kids play downstairs.
