I've seen several threads with this type of topic, but none of them are very up to date so I thought I'd ask... It's my 18th birthday in about a month and I'd like to rent out a section of a club or a cool bar for about 100ish people. I'm sharing the party with another one/two people so money isn't really a huge issue - the main problem is ID. I would say that probably about 60% of the people will be 18 and have legal ID. The others mostly have fake age cards and driving licenses but nobody seems to be accepting them at the moment and having half of the guests either kicked out or not accepted into my birthday would be pretty annoying. Does anyone have any ideas for specific venues which could be more relaxed with the age situation? In the past I've been to 18ths where underage people have been allowed in as long as they don't buy drinks - so this kind of admission policy would be perfect. Central London would be the best location but anywhere is okay as long as it's easy to get to on the tube. Thanks!

You might have to make some phone calls to specific bars and things. Some places allow under 18s with 'accompanying adults', like you say, provided their not drinking alcohol. But usually this is only until a certain time, specifically to cater for families, really.

I would have thought places with a restaurant area might be best for this kind of thing. Or community clubs that have bars. I think your best bet is phoning around and asking placs if they allow under 18s.
