Just writing to let you know about this amazing new comedy play
PROUD by John Stanley, Directed by Christian Durham
@ ABOVE THE STAG THEATRE in Victoria, London. SW1E 5DD

I think it's one of the best new plays to hit the London Fringe in recent years. But don't take my word for it. Have a look at some of the audience feedback the show received in it's preview week:

"Thanks for a wonderful evening, PROUD was fantastic."

Linda

"Have just got back from seeing PROUD at the Studio at the Wimbledon Theatre. It was excellent - a well crafted play with a professional cast of actors. Anna Lindup was particularly strong as the mother - Rachel McCain although in such a strong production it seems unfair to single any one actor out. It was very funny in places - particularly the family dynamics between the mother, son and daughter - and also poignant. Do hope it has a long run in the West End."

Sarah

Congratulations on a good show last night - I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was lovely to meet you, Nic and the rest of the cast and I hope the show goes on to be the success it deserves.

Lesley

A controversial script, brilliantly interpreted by Director Christian Durham, highlights conflict:
conflict between generations, gender and a minority view on conventional living.

Edwin

I saw it and am exhausted I laughed and cried-what a cast and script it deserves to do well.

Mark

As a survivor of the explosion, Tom has always commemorated the bombing as a single man. But with Lewis in his life and with the tenth anniversary looming he hopes this year will be different. As with so many situations, what spawns the events of PROUD is one person’s inability to tell the truth and confront the consequences that the truth may have both for themselves and the ones that they love. In this case, eighteen year-old LEWIS’S understandable reluctance to come clean with his Boxing coach MAC about his homosexuality provides the catalyst for the deceptions, misunderstandings and conflicts that unfold throughout the play but this is no simple “coming out” story: this, if anything, is more a story of how wanting it all can often mean risking it all in the end.

Are we seeing a multiple user account promo post here? The sign up dates do support my assumption, am I right?
