Restaurants in Kensington

hey everyone, i am staying in a hotel in Kensington and wanted to know if anyone had any nice ideas of any nice restaurants in that area, im open to any suggestions,

Hi there,

My favourites in that part of town are Eight Over Eight (Asian food) on King's Road and Kensington Place (European) on Kensington Church Street.

Both aren't cheap but the food is excellent.

Best for food and location are the Roof Top Gardens. Went there a few weeks ago and the food and service is first class. Expensive but such a unique location, you can even walk around the gardens (even in winter) whilst they are cooking your food!

Zaika, The indian restaurant at 1 Kensington High Street (opposite the big hotel) is amazing, try the salmon. Best indian i've been to in the UK....

Or for a cheap night out, try Balans. Local restaurant/cafe but with reasonable prices, nice decor and with food (and menu) better than most other restaurants in the area.
