Without a doubt the best falafel in London.
Spiced and seasoned to perfection, comes with delicious vegetable ratatouille and cheese and pitta bread - YUM. It's perfect for a drunken stopoff or even for a quality £5 dinner. Staff are delightful and the atmosphere is chilled and cool, would definitely hang out here with a cuppa during the day if I lived closer.
The food I have had here has all been 100% fresh so I don't know why anyone would criticise it to be honest... if you live anywhere in the Shoreditch/Dalston/Hackney vicinity this is by far the best place to get quality fast food.

This is a lovely little joint. It's always open when you most need it (well, I've never seen it closed). The prices are reasonable and the food portions are huge. The staff are intimidating, as they look a little like old New York gangsters, but are harmless and very obliging, and they won't kick you out if you stay two hours with one cup of tea. Plus, there are exciting and odd murals on the wall that include tiny cats.
