International Garden Photographer of the Year

The International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) exhibition showcases the winners and runners-up from this annual competition, including a series of special Sunday talks.

Now in its 10th year, The International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition (IGPOTY), which brings together the best garden, plant and botanical photography from across the world, will hold its annual exhibition in the Nash Conservatory at Kew Gardens. The competition takes place every year and the best photographs are exhibited at Kew Gardens.

This year will feature a programme of talks titled 'Photosynthesis' which will take place each Sunday during the event. The speakers will be a mixture of IGPOTY contacts, past winners and those with expertise photographing Kew Gardens.

A new 'Capured at Kew' category will centre on images taken at Kew or Wakehurst. This year's theme is Beauty in the Gardens. There are 25 finalists who have been selected, with the winner to be announced shortly. This will form a section of the exhibition and be highlighted in the Sunday talks.

A comfortable seating area will be reserved within the Nash Conservatory for visitors to relax and flick through a pop up library of IGPOTY books, including the 2017 edition which will be available for sale at Victoria Plaza shop.

Entry to the exhibition is included with your day ticket. No booking required for the talks, just turn up to the Nash Conservatory on the day.
