Street Food Festival

Exciting family activities at Battersea Power Station this June including a fabulous Street Food festival, the Big Lunch neighbourhood picnic and Father’s Day activities.

Throughout the month of June, head to Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village for a line-up of fun activities for all the family. Circus West will be hosting a street food festival every weekend in June, with some mouth-watering meals and treats for everyone.

Circus West Village’s June Street Food Festival includes the following:

• Mother Clucker will be serving their delicious buttermilk soaked twice-battered fried chicken with a side of skinny fries tossed in Cajun spices.


• Tickle your taste buds with Hank’s Po’ Boys – New Orleans style sandwiches with a London street vibe. Hank’s Po Boys bring their street food take on one of the world’s most famous sandwiches – famously messy, spicy and soaked in gravy. Head to Circus West to indulge in po’ boys with fillings are cooked in hand-blended spice mixes and homemade sauces.


• For pizza lovers, Born & Raised will be creating their mobile wood-fired artisan pizzas combined with responsibly sourced British ingredients.


• With warmer weather being predicted, enjoy a cold sweet treat from Nonna Gelato. They will be serving their homemade, artisan gelato and sorbet including their award winning Kentish Cobnut and Dark Chocolate Sorbet.


• Take part in the biggest neighbourhood celebration since the Queen’s Jubilee. This year the Great Get Together has teamed up The Big Lunch. The initiative encourages communities to get together and share food. You can purchase food from our street food vendors or bring along your own picnic – just show up and get involved!


• Well Kneaded will be serving their Neapolitan style wood fired sourdough based pizza topped with ingredients obtained from artisan British producers.


• Indulge in churros submerged in cinnamon sugar, Belgian chocolate or warm butterscotch from La Churreria. You can also top your churros with sprinkles of marshmallows or candy shards.

• On Saturday 17th June, there will be a DJ to get everyone on their feet. Bubblelologists will be back at Circus West providing entertainment like you’ve never experienced before.


• On Father’s Day, there will be a host of daddy themed activities including kid’s superhero transformation pods, face painting, cape making activities, live music and a giant outdoor Scalextric.


• Take in a Father’s Day show at the Village Hall, with Nick Makoha’s autobiographical show My Father and Other Superheroes. A moving and powerful story about the journey from childhood to fatherhood and how pop culture raised Makoha.
