December Dip

The Outdoor Swimming Society (OSS) is delighted to invite you to the 2017 December Dip, held at Parliament Hill Lido, on London’s Hampstead Heath.

This year’s event welcomes OSS members to don their fancy dress, gather their relay teams, enter the Arctic Swim, and join us for a festive celebration of outdoor swimming as well as the OSS Winter Book Talk.

This year’s theme is based on the Christmas carol, ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ – we’ll have Lords-a-Leaping in the mass dip, Gold Rings and Swans-a-swimming in the team events, plus the very best of your creations too.

Come up with your most wonderful, wacky, festive-themed fancy dress for the Best Dressed Dipper Competition. Make sure you select a ‘Best Dressed Dipper’ Ticket for the event to ensure you are registered for the competition and be ready to parade your creations around the pool at 12.10pm.

Everyone in the fancy dress competition will then enter the water for their dip together, to take on 1-2 widths (the choice is yours), of the 30 metre wide pool.
