Women’s mental health charity Wish are hosting a live music, poetry and comedy night that will bring together a collective of female voices who all want to see a change in our mental health system.
Turn Up The Volume includes performers such as comedian Jessie Cave, poet Charly Cox, electronic music duo Wyles and Simpson, comedians Chloe Green and Jodie Mitchell from comedy troupe The LOL Word, and poet Momtaza Mehri, who was recently announced as the Young People’s Poet Laureate for London. And the compere for this variety night is radio host Remel London.
This night is all about Turning Up The Volume so that women in the mental health system will no longer be silenced. The event is fundraising for Wish’s latest project, the Women’s Mental Health Network, which is a user-led campaigning platform that will work to improve the current mental health system for women by making services more gender-specific.
