The Candlelight Club

An award-winning pop-up 1920s speakeasy in a secret London venue completely lit by candles, with live jazz bands, cabaret and retro-DJs—and where everyone dresses the part.

The November party will be hosted as ever by purveyor of saucy song Champagne Charlie, introducing live music from the Volstead Orchestra and vintage vinyl spun by Holly of the Bee’s Knees.

To celebrate the BFI Southbank’s limited run this month of a sparkling new 4K digital restoration of the comedy classic Some Like it Hot, set during the Prohibition era, we have two lobby posters to give away, one on Friday, one on Saturday, to the best dressed guest!

As usual you can pre-order the three-course dinner (which includes a table reservation all night) or reserve a table with Champagne but without the dinner. The bars will be dispensing exquisite cocktails and Havana cigars that you can smoke in our private garden. Guests receive an email two days before revealing the secret location.
