Singapore is landing in London this weekend with an immersive, multi-sensory garden, set to take visitors on a techno - natural odyssey at Finsbury Avenue Square, Broadgate EC2A.

On Saturday 15 June there will be a full schedule of free talks and experiences as part of Singapore: Where Explorers Meet. From crafting botanical cocktails with one of the world’s best mixologists, to learning the secrets of cutting-edge floral artistry, to a cross continental journey of a lifetime, the event is a unique chance to meet some of Singapore's most exciting creative talent.

The event commemorating the Singapore Bicentennial is curated by leading Singaporean and UK creative agencies, In The Wild and Bompas & Parr and will offer visitors a slice of Singapore’s history, culture, arts, music, dining and cocktail scene.

The Prime Explorer

Be inspired by tales of epic exploration. Between 1955–56 an adventurous young man named Tim Slessor made history by driving 18,000 miles from London to Singapore in an Oxford Landrover. The evocative black and white programme telling this story is one of strength, determination and exploration. This iconic and challenging road journey will be re-created in 2019 from Singapore to London, with award-winning filmmaker Alex Bescoby, and the original expedition members – Tim Slessor, now aged 87, and the 1955 Oxford car. Join Alex and Tim as they share their inspirations, motivations and insights into the preparations leading up to the journey flag-off, commencing in Aug 2019, from Singapore.
