Brockwell Park is a 128.5 acre park in Herne Hill. Within the park, on top of a hill, stands the Grade II listed Brockwell Hall. It was built between 1811-1813 as the country seat of glass merchant John Blades. In 1891, the London County Council bought the park and Brockwell Hall and opened it to the public the following summer. 10 years later, a further 43 acres of land were added north of the original park.

Today, the park is bordered by Brixton Water Lane, Norwood Road, Tulse Hill Road and Dulwich Road.

In the park you will find a large number of amenities such as an open air swimming pool, BMX track, football pitches, basketball and volleyball courts, a bowling green, cricket nets, a paddling pool for children, a miniature railway, duck ponds and a cafe!

Events that take place at the park include the Lambeth Country Show in July and the annual fireworks display around November 5th.
