Volunteers' Week 2010
When: week beginning 7th June
Where: across the UK
There are hundreds of events taking place across the country, so why not see what’s near you (such as Stepney City Farm- London- City Farm Open Day) where you can help out all in the name of a good cause.

My View of London - an exciting new photo competition
When: closing-date on 11 June
Where: everywhere!
London is an amazing and inspiring city. Its beautiful buildings, vibrant street life and secret places to escape provide endless photo opportunities. My View of London, organised by eye research charity Fight for Sight, encourages budding photographers to enter a photo of their favourite view of London for a chance to win some great prizes. So get out there and get snapping to enter!

Rainforest Life
When: Sat 27th Mar onwards
Where: ZSL London Zoo, Regents Circle, London NW1 4RY
Rainforest Life will give visitors to ZSL London Zoo the chance to experience the sights, smells and sounds of London’s only living rainforest. Get close to cheeky red titi monkeys, glamorous gold lion tamarins and sleepy sloths as you walk through a land of tropical plants, misty clearings and entangled vines.

Henry Moore Exhibition
When: Wed 24th Feb to Sun 8th Aug
Where: Tate Britain, Millbank, London, SW1P 4RG
Radical, experimental and ahead of his time, Henry Moore was one of Britain’s greatest artists. This stunning exhibition takes a fresh look at his work and legacy, presenting over 150 stone sculptures, wood carvings, bronzes and drawings. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to truly understand this much-loved artist.

E4 Udderbelly at Southbank Centre
When: until Sat the 17th Jul
Where: Southbank Centre (near London Eye), Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX
E4 Udderbelly at Southbank Centre is back for its second year to graze on the banks of the Thames this summer from 13th May to 18th July 2010. In partnership with Southbank Centre, the hugely popular, giant inflatable 410-capacity cow, which established itself as one of the Edinburgh Festival’s most exciting and unique venues in 2006, will return this year with an even bigger and better line-up, nestled comfortably between the famous London Eye and Royal Festival Hall.

WWT London Wetland Centre 10th Anniversary Celebrations
When: until Sun 6th Jun
Where: WWT London Wetland Centre, Queen Elizabeth’s Walk, Barnes, London SW13 9WT
The WWT London Wetland Centre will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year with a variety of festivities. From May 29th to June 6th, the Centre host a week of animal encounters, in which visitors can meet up-close everything from birds of prey to otters, bats, hedgehogs and amphibians.

Camden Green Fair and Bikefest 2010
When: Sun 6th Jun
Where: Regents Park, London NW1 4NR
London’s Leading green event, featuring cutting edge green-audio stages, amazing science and art crossover entertainment, comprehensive healing area, eco-futures careers and education area, a resource zone of the London Community Recycling Network (LCRN), Ye Olde Village Green scene, large children’s area, speakers, workshops, campaigns, ethical marketplace, organic food villages, real beer, ale and cider bars, food and garden zone, animals and nature zone, giant pass the parcel, and the 10th anniversary of the BikeFest.

A Taste of Spain 2010
When: Sun 6th Jun
Where: Regent Street, London, W1
After a long cold winter, those itching for ‘A Taste of Spain’ should head to Regent Street on Sunday 6 June 2010 when central London will host this year’s Spanish festival. Graced with giant paellas, flamenco dancers, medieval food markets and a range of interactive sports challenges and events to demonstrate Spain’s vast sports offering, it’s a great mini holiday for all.
