Glengarclas whisky tastings

The Capital Hotel and Bar, located in London’s exclusive Knightsbridge minutes from Harrods and Harvey Nichols, is now offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests to taste the renowned Glenfarclas whisky. This whisky tasting experience is priced at just £450, which also includes a luxurious overnight stay and breakfast at The Capital Hotel. With Christmas fast approaching, the Glenfarclas tasting experience offers the ideal and unique gift this year.

Produced in the Scottish Highlands by generations of the Grant family, this rare 50-year single malt whisky, of which only 25 bottles have ever been made, has become available to The Capital Hotel.

Rounding off this decedent experience, The Capital is also offering those sampling the Glenfarclas a complimentary classic suite for the night, twin or double, along with breakfast the following morning, a perfect way to end their extraordinary whisky tasting experience.

The Capital Bar is well known for its extensive whisky collection and is overseen by Bar Manager Cesar Da Silva, the UK’s youngest Keeper of the Quaich. Cesar maintains The Capital’s association with the Society at the heart of the Scotch whisky industry, ensuring his impressive range of whiskies are of the highest quality and recognised internationally.

The whisky list includes classic bottles, as well as 35-50 year old specimens, making the bar a favourite with connoisseurs of the spirit. Guests can relax in the cosy, intimate setting, savouring themselves with the Glenfarclas, or one of the other high quality drinks. Guests can also enjoy a whisky-pairing menu, matching cheeses with whiskies, priced at £24 or whisky and dessert combination for £12.
