Fall in love with the new St James Café Rouge

New Café Rouge

Situated behind St Christopher’s Place and a stone’s throw away from Selfridges, Café Rouge James St will launch Tuesday 21 April, showcasing the personality and charm that the ‘New Rouge’ brand epitomises. Authentic French heritage fuses with a classic and romantic style; a natural marriage that is seen throughout the newly created Rejuve menu, wine list and the traditional Parisian style design of the brand new restaurant.

Keane Design Studio has worked to produce Café Rouge’s Brand Director, Georgia Hall’s strategic vision of how the rejuvenated brand should look, making the Marylebone bistro one of Café Rouge’s signature sites spanning 800 square feet to cater for 90 covers which will serve customers in intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Georgia Hall, Café Rouge Brand and Marketing Director states: “My vision for the ‘new Rouge’ is to create a warm, comfortable and memorable dining experience. We want people to fall in love with us again– literally! We have invested heavily in the décor, food and wine so that our customers can have Parisian glamour and romance here in the UK.”

Grand chandeliers and swan neck wall lights will add a warm glow, reflected throughout the space with vintage Rococo style French mirrors displaying traditional typography messages. Dark mahogany forms both the handsome bar with inlaid pewter topping and the solid wood flooring. Vintage high top stools and rouge leather banquettes offer customers comfortable seating to indulge in people watching in one of London’s most fashionable quarters.

Outside seating will include a delightful love chair and guests will be protected from the elements by a traditional glass screen, Rouge parasols, breeze breakers and bay trees, preserving the little bubble of Parisian charm that Café Rouge on James St has cultivated.
