Bermondsey Street Festival
19 September
Artists, musicians, dancers, actors and fashionistas will present their work and talents across a range of stages and on the streets.


Bloomsbury Festival
22 - 25 October
Bloomsbury Festival is a creative explosion of performance, arts, music and heritage events held in the streets, parks, museums, galleries, laboratories and public and private buildings of one of London’s most vibrant cultural quarters.


Heartbeat
Until 27 September
Weaving its way through the South Hall of the Grade II listed Market Building, 100,000 giant balloons stretch 54 metres in length and 12 metres in width, and incorporates gentle pulsating white light to symbolise the beating of a heart and reflect the history, energy and dynamism of the district.


Open House London
19 & 20 September
The initiative is a simple but powerful concept: hundreds of great buildings of all types and periods opened up their doors to all, completely for free.


London Design Festival
19 - 27 September
Over 350 events and installations will be on offer across the city, from a stimulating programme at the Victoria and Albert museum to a series of installations and exhibitions in Somerset House. The Festival will showcase ideas from more than 250 partners, representing the heart of London’s design community, proving its role as a leading force in the city’s creative economy.


Totally Thames
1 - 30 September
Totally Thames brings the river to life with a month-long season of river-related events featuring arts, music and community festivals; colourful regattas; thrilling river races; foreshore archaeology, exploration, environmental and educational activities; as well as river-linked activities in London’s 17 riverside boroughs.
