TT, formerly known as TT Liquor, are thrilled to introduce a new restaurant opening on 22nd March. Led by ex-Oren Head Chef, Sam Lone, fire-cooked seasonal produce is the focus, with smoking, pickling and baking featuring heavily across the sharing menu. Food is served across two floors in the impressive newly-renovated rooftop and bright, brand new ground floor restaurant. Bookings are available for lunchtime and dinner.

Head Chef Sam’s extensive experience at Oren, The Palomar and Cabotte, along with TT’s rooftop focal point means the menu is naturally designed around an outdoor grill. The newly installed outdoor kitchen is equipped with a bespoke Asado-style grill and wood fired oven; a nod to TT’s early days holding informal rooftop BBQs.

TT’s food champions seasonal, quality produce, with the menu and specials changing regularly. Snacks to whet the appetite include Smoked Ox Cheek Croquettes. House Pickles and Focaccia with Hummus for mopping, bring freshness and acidity.

Dishes such as Dry-Aged Ribeye with Chimichurri, Lamb Shoulder a la Plancha with Roasted Garlic Yogurt or Barbecued Mackerel with Pickled Chilli Hot Sauce allow ingredients to shine. Squid is flame grilled quickly to retain tenderness and served in a sauce of its ink. Oyster mushrooms are smoked then paired with a rich Burford Brown egg yolk for dipping. Barbequed Chicken Thighs are served with Tirokeftari, a spicy feta dip from Greece. Fire roasted in the coals, a Golden Beetroot is doused in molasses and Roasted Pumpkin comes with a pesto made from the pumpkin’s seeds and creamy ricotta. A Smoked Cauliflower Cheese is sure to be a hit with both herbivores and omnivores.

Finish off the meal with a small but strong selection of desserts. Embracing TT’s origins is the boozy Pecan & Whisky Pie. Juicy barbequed Pineapple is served with Whipped Cheesecake and White Chocolate. Warm Brownie and Creme Fraiche won’t disappoint the chocoholics.

Despite being just 28 years old, Head Chef, Sam Lone comes with a wealth of kitchen experience. He moved to London to train under an ex-Gordon Ramsay alumni at Cabotte before moving onto The Palomar and then Two Lights. Beloved local restaurant, Oren was next where Sam quickly worked his way up to Head Chef.

A multifaceted venue, TT’s charming, unconventional building was once a Victorian police station. Since 2017, TT Liquor has been a cocktail bar, with a steadfast view to expand into food. Mirroring the refurbished rooftop complete with retractable roof and windows, the new ground-floor restaurant is also bright and airy during the day, and atmospheric at night. The floor to ceiling shop front window allows an abundance of natural light and greenery helps to bring the outside in. The interiors incorporate warm oak and hardwood found throughout TT, alongside stylish Parisian-style fittings.
