Alain Ducasse At The Dorchester Introduces A Bespoke Chocolate Hamper For Christmas

Alain Ducasse At The Dorchester sees in the festive season.

This festive season, celebrated chef Alain Ducasse is offering - for the first time in the UK - the exclusive opportunity to bring home a luxury hamper filled with the finest artisanal chocolates direct from his manufacture in Paris.

Mr. Ducasse has handpicked a selection of his favourite speciality chocolates handmade at his recently opened factory in the heart of Paris. The only bean to bar chocolate factory in the city, La Manufacture de Chocolat is a workshop tucked away in the back of a small cobbled courtyard and inside, chocolate is handcrafted on traditional vintage machines using time-tested methods.

To enhance this gourmet experience, the hamper includes a bottle of Champagne NV Selection Alain Ducasse Brut; previously unavailable for purchase in the UK and only served at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester.

An indulgent treat, the limited edition hamper is available by pre-order only and includes:
A discovery box (180g) - A selection of the finest pralines and ganaches from La Manufacture de Chocolat including 'Old fashioned' 'Ganaches origins' and 'Ganaches gourmand'
5 bars of single region chocolate (75g per bar) - Of the 44 varieties available at the manufacture, 5 have been selected including a traditional mendiant bar made with caramelised hazelnuts, originating from Italy
Les Fruits confits de Soveria (250g) - Preserved oranges from the Soveria region in Corsica coated with 75% dark chocolate - a traditional French festive delicacy
Handmade 'Roc' Milk Chocolate (150g) - Chopped hazelnuts, raisins, puffed rice dipped in milk chocolate
Dark chocolate almonds (250g) - Dark chocolate coated almonds

The Champagne & Chocolate Christmas Hamper will be available for pre-order from 1st November to 10th December by e-mailing [email protected] or calling 020 7629 8866.
Hampers are priced at £125 and can be collected from the restaurant on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th December only.
