It's a shame as I so wanted this place to be really good. Unfortunately it just isn't. Located just a stones throw from my office they seemed like a great shout for a lunch time bit to eat.
However it really doesn't live up to expectations (especially for about £14 for chips, burger and a drink). For example the chips they serve are school dinner style chips. Thick, yellow and badly cooked. Why not serve fries, it's meant to be an american style diner?
The rest of the food is as disappointing as the chips, sad looking burgers and small portions. All in all a thorough disappointment.
Burgers and fries are the order of the day at this genuine 1950s American diner where the clientele sit on high stools facing the bar. There's a proper juke box which is usually playing something suitably rock 'n' roll.
