What makes the ultimate burger? It's quite possibly a little bit of meat alchemy.
The burgers at Patty & Bun easily require a dozen napkins; aside from the beef patties they ooze hot cheese sauce, caramelised onions, relish and smoked bacon. You can also swap beef for buttermilk chicken or garlicky mushroom.

The capital’s burger craze has resulted in fanatics trawling through London’s fast food joints,competing with each other to find the softest bun and the juiciest patty. Countless blogs and newspaper articles have been devoted to the cause, and one place that always rates highly is Patty & Bun, in no small part for producing some of the messiest 10-napkin burgers in town. They also do a good line in inspired toppings, such as buttermilk courgettes and chipotle mayo.

My boyfriend and I have been on a mission for about two years now to find the best burger in London... We have visited some brilliant places but Patty and Bun is right up there for us for being one of the Best. Fairly priced for a fairly good portioned burger which is mouth watering and sheer awesome! Their fries are also really nice which just completes the package. Service is normally excellent. We've never waited more than 15 minutes for our food, even on a busy evening (and they are always busy) and staff are always friendly and smiley. Can't recommend the place highly enough! Big fan!
