BIRD serves free range fried chicken with a range of delicious accompaniments.
The menu offers a choice of white, dark or mixed meat, served with different glazes or dips, and sides like jalapeno corn pudding, vinegar slaw and hand cut fries. The Asian influence comes in the guise of Asian salads and pickles that pair perfectly with the spicy fried chicken, the Mu Shu pancake wraps which evoke crispy Peking duck, or the kewpie mayo that adorns the fried chicken sandwich. For those going all out there’s the Chicken & Waffle Burger.
Finally, freshly made yeast-risen doughnuts, rolled and hand cut each morning, are offered to take away all day from the restaurant’s Doughnut Hatch.
