Sugar Reef was opened in 1999 and since then has been a popular venue. It has a 1000 person capacity and its split level ground floor serves a variety of New South American dishes. The lower floor offers the Coral Bar, a dance floor and the exclusive Members Bar.

Went for a Christmas do and found the food to be really good (everyone agreed on this) with the set menu providing good choice and all really tasty. The waitress was great - they were obviously very busy but she was still very attentive and was patient when we had to wait a while for our whole party to arrive. My only gripe was the slight 'school canteen' feeling about the seating. We were at the back of the restaurant where there were plain chairs and paper tablecloths and were all sat in long rows in a densely packed space. Overall still a good night - look out for the happy hour drinks...half price on lots of great wines if you order before 7pm!
