All In London Review
Affordable, Southern-style chicken joint with a nice vibe
We get a piping hot, very tasty spinach and artichoke dip served in a mini saucepan, with freshly fried, proper tortilla chips, none of the Doritos stuff. It's a very sizeable starter which turns out to be the running theme - further proof if needed that they favour supersizing everything across the pond. Four buttermilk chicken wings are practically the size of baby chickens, with nice crunchy coating. The blue cheese sauce has a pleasing tang.
Sliders with fried chicken have a fairly plain pimento cheese and bacon jam, but the real highlight is Big Mama’s Favourite, smoky chicken Southern style with crispy skin and a deliciously gloopy gravy. Warning: it's big enough for too, and at £12 it's a complete bargain.
As side dishes there's Jalapeno mac and cheese, and sweet potato bake topped with marshmallow, with cinnamon that wafts through the air before it even arrives. It's so saccharine it may well be a dessert - Americans sure like their sweet stuff.
As well as being affordable it has a fun vibe, all the staff are smiley and seem to genuinely enjoy working here.
