I wrote the comment about the Sunday steak. I have now been back to try their breakfast!
Went there with friends for a nice breakfast before heading out on the town for the day. It was a bargain with their two for £10. Had the big English breakfast and it was okay. Nothing to write home about, but it tasted alright. Nothing fancy or special, but I really didn't expect it to be either. Staff looked bored and didn't really pay attention either.

Salad bar had no salad for 30 minutes, no salad dressing, this after I complained. Asked to have salad bar taken off check. Order fish and chips, fish was over cooked, had to hack through the coating to get to the fish, fish was tough and chewy. Gave up and went across the street to Burger King. Worst place I ever ate at in London.

Horrible food. Had the Sunday steak and thought I would be getting a glimpse of the English cuisine, with I had not. Mash was made from instant mash powder, broccoli was hardly cooked at all could not even cut it with my knife. Yorkshire pudding was decent, but not made fresh. Meat was... ehh...
We shared a bottle of wine. The waiter opened it and just placed it on the table and left. No offering of a taste or pouring it for us.
I'm curious about their breakfasts though.
