All In London Review
Travellers will take a wonderful impression of British cuisine with them
But in fact, despite its location, the layout is such that you completely forget you are at a busy terminal. The orb lighting is peaceful and the décor is soothing, elegant leather banquettes are laid out uniformly, with plenty of space between each table.
A trip to the toilets revealed they had chosen to keep the original enormous Victorian floor to ceiling doors and windows, the latter covered with long heavy drapes, giving this area an eerie, dreamlike quality. The sheer size and weight of the door made me think of very old school buildings and Dickens novels.
The menu is unashamedly British; the slow roasted pork belly with apple and grape chutney. The meat was tender, with a thin crispy layer of skin on top, and a bed of mashed potato which had soaked up the sweet sauce.
My dining partner had it a little more complicated; being a vegan there was nothing she could order. Even the salads had cheese, however our waitress was happy to oblige and asked the chef to remove the blue cheese from her walnut, cooked apple and red lettuce salad, which she was immensely happy with.
For desserts we chose a good old fashioned pear crumble and a raspberry sorbet, with Eau de Vie as a dessert wine. The crumble was light, and lacking the usual heaviness British puddings tend to have, the subtle hint of prunes of the Eau de Vie was a good accompaniment.
There's an adjacent Champagne and Oyster Bar, however it lacks the comfort and isolation from the hustle and bustle that the restaurant provides. Catering to business travellers, prices are not over the top as our meal came to around £70. Many diners here tonight were no doubt on their way to another European destination, but thanks to St. Pancras Grand they’ll be able to take a wonderful impression of British cuisine with them.

Guzzle them down at London's best oyster bars
To those of you who already love oysters - you know what all the fuss is about...
This Searcy’s venue above the Eurostar Terminal boasts the longest champagne bar in Europe. Snack on oysters or the seafood platter with cockles, prawns, lobster and crab meat; alternatively the restaurant menu has more substantial British dishes.
