Not cheap, but the steaks are good, and the wine list is excellent. My problem is their culture, I haded over £150 (meal for 2 with wine desert, and liqueur)in 3 x £50 notes for a bill of £110. I waited for some change, so that I could leave a tip, but none came. After 20 minutes or so AFTER the table was cleared, still no, change... when asked the waitress even said she thought she deserved a £40 tip! I think thats just plain cheeky.

Fantastic food (read: beef), great service, excellent wines, great "no fuss" atmos - all in all a great place if you like beef! I have to say the best beef i have ever had!

3 of us went to a quiet Putney branch on a Thursday evening. The place soon got busy. Good sirloins cooked perfectly to order. Crispy chips and a fine bottle of South African red. Our American visitor was very pleased with the quality of the beef and the sticky toffee pudding. Service was goodi, the bill just topping £100. Will go again.
