Nexx Level

3 of us arrived at the restaurant on a sunday evening and it was quite busy. After a prompt taking of the order, the starters (jerk wings) took 45min to be served although they were precooked and just warmed in a microwave. The jerk wings tasted really nice albeit some of them were still cold!!

For main course we ordered sea bass fillet and curry goat with rice and peas and some fried plantain as sides. That came another half an hour later but they forgot the fried plantain. The sea bass fillet dish was delicious but portion size is very small. The curry goat on the other had albeit served like a gourmet dish; inside a pastry well, it contained so many pieces for tiny tiny broken bones that it was really annoying.

Food preparation: 3/10 *for cold microwaved wings, and crushed bones in curry

The bill came to £27 and I had a TasteLondon card which they readily accepted and reduced the bill to £18.50 which was nice :)

Overall, I give them a 5 out of 10 but I might go back and give them another try just to give them another chance and because I get 50% of all the food (not drinks!).

I visited this restaurant lastnight based on the previous reviews posted and I must say I was very eager to sample their food. Indeed I was not disappointed once I arrived at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is of a high standard. The beautiful palm trees displayed as well as the coconut thatches gave me the warm caribbean feeling. Although the wait on the food was slightly long, once I received the food it was definitely worthy of the wait.

The presenation was superb; for a moment I thought I was at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The Jerk chicken was succulent and delicious. I would highly recommend Nexx Level to anyone who is and isnt familiar with Caribbean cuisine. This restaurant is a true definition of authentic caribbean cuisine. The customer service was great ! Looking forward to my next visit at Nexx level !

I had my wedding reception at this fabulous restaurant, the food tasted great with high standard in its presntation. All my guest was impressed at its standard as was like being in a top class restaurant at the west end. The food tasted amazing and most of my guest want to go back to this resturant again.
The music that they provided was fantastic and service was great.
This place helped in making my wedding reception a very happy experience and all at a very reasonable price.

I went here for a wedding reception and the food was absolutely delicious. Not only did it taste amazing, the presentation and service was also amazing. The staff were friendly and very polite and I could not have asked for better service. Whilst I have been to many Caribbean restaurants, Nexx Level stands out as the presentation of food is beautiful and the inside of the restaurant is well designed. I would definitely go there again.

They give you a warm welcome from the moment you step through the door. It's deffinately worth the wait , children friendly , comfortable seating , I could go on and on absolutely impecable service! I recommened to everyone and anyone. And also , It's not like other Carribean restaurants that they just put the food on the plate , they work on appearance! Great prices aswell!

Excellent service, and wonderful, creative dishes. Very comfortable seating, which I personally think is very important. They can not help you enough and really make the hold evening relaxed and enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend it. They do take away too.

This is a wonderful venue for a quiet evening dinner for two or indeed a party - a more special affair. It is warm and welcoming. You're made to feel special. Go on, give it a go...
