Get rid of your nasty staff, they are very rude, train new staff to be polite, don't claim to have the best roast duck in London if it does not live up to the claim, my duck was cold and not crispy. Overall a bad night out.

This restaurant had been recommended to me by several Singaporean Chinese friends. My partner (who is Singaporean Chinese and has eaten in some very swanky Chinese restaurants all over the world) and I really enjoyed their roast duck and spare ribs. After having read the other reviews on this site trashing the service at this place we didn't expect much, but were more than pleasantly surprised by the level of service (for an affordable Chinese restaurant). Our advice is to go for an early lunch or dinner to avoid the crowds. Definitely going back.

I made a reservation for 12 people at Four Seasons and got a call confirming the reservation that same morning. When arriving at the restaurant, I was told that we all had to wait 20 min for the table. "Making a reservation" the manager told me "doesn't mean the table is ready when you arrive. There are other customers at your table. You have to wait for them to finish. Just like you would wait for a delayed train".
I was shocked. We went elsewhere and ended up having a very good time.

I just had dinner last night in Four season restaurant. Dont mentioned about the waiting time. The roasted duck is not as described 10 Star. The duck meat is cold, skin not crispy at all and that cant be call roasted duck. Service is very poor. Staff no manners. Roasted Pork skin also not crispy.
There are still other restaurants that have better roasted duck and pork.

I have been eating here for over 30years and it still serves the best roast duck in London.I admit seating is a challenge but that is down to the immense popularity of the place. The staff are rushed off their feet and once you know them still manage a smile and to laugh with you, though maybe for differing reasons. The place is a landmark and should have a blue plaque outside in honour of the pleasure its given to hundreds of thousands of peoples stomachs over the years.Mr VIP.

visit this restaurant last weekend, waiting nearly one and the half hours to wait for a "sharing table" with my boyfriend. We are sharing table with the other 5 peoples..staff services are poor and many customer leave the restaurant due to long hour waiting. very dissapoited with the roast duck they serve (although they claim themselve are the best within London), its cold and greasy. they should change the management system, if you are regular customer and knew that should booked the table by phone, it will be ok for you. i start waiting at 7pm and able get seat at 8.30pm but there is people phone in at 7.30pm and able to secure a seat at 8pm. it's crazy!!
Have your say
