I go regularly to TPT CAFE for the last 7 years and always when I am going to the cinema or a show in the West End.
It offers EXCELLENT FOOD of high quality at a good price.
I rarely get to the desserts as we are always full before that.
This is a CAFE where the food is better than a lot of the restaurants in Soho.
PLEASE TRY PEKING DUCK with pancakes is as good as in any top restaurant.
: Ho Fun Malaysian noodles
-The salt & pepper tofu
The service is quick - I have never found it pushy .
On the contrary the main staff have been working there for many years (always a good sign) and by now I am always recognized by the manager and amazingly the staff remember that I cannot use chopsticks and without asking I am given regular cutlery - There is usually a queue at the door waiting to get a table .
I found TPT THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY FOR HIGH QUALITY CHINESE FOOD.
The only other chinese RESTAURANT that I will go to is in QUEENSWAY area: KAM TONG (it is not a cafe)
I had never thought of going to a chinese restaurant for dessert as it is really not their main forte .....

Best For
The best places to find a late night bite in London
It doesn't have to be a greasy doner or whatever's left in the cabinet at Sam's Chick'n 'n' Ribz.
Cramped and fast foody, Café TPT serves cheap, satisfying Chinese dishes till 1am. Choose from Won Ton noodle soup, chicken with jellyfish or the ubiquitous Peking duck with pancakes.

It a good place to just grab a desert , but only when not busy, pushy with the service and rush you in and out. Danny

the desert is excellent, you can have only dessert after 10pm, we go there after eating at another restaurant and a walk to let food settle and go about 11pm

Cafe TPT has got the best chinese desserts! Service is fast and your food arrives in 5 minutes. Plus they use traditional ingredients which make any dining experience all the more tasteful! Highly recommended.
