Hunan is a family run restaurant that serves a variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They will reduce the spicing if you ask but the brave will be well rewarded with delicious and often unknown dishes and a first class culinary treat. A takeaway menu is also available.

Amazing food! I love this place coz its so different, and perfect if you like lots of variety in your meal. We all left stuffed. Great service and the son of the owner knows just which wine to recommend for the food. Highly recommended.

I have been in this restaurant about 3 times and this is definetely one of my favorites in London.
The food is excellent and so is the tea served, oolong tea specially shipped from Taiwan,I was delighted and I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves chinese cuisine and enjoys beeing surprised by the menu.
A bit expensive, but worth to discover.
I am going back for more!!!

This is truly the most charmingly eccentric Chinese restaurant my wife and I have ever encountered. Rumour has it that a menu does exist, somewhere, but Mr.Peng tends to steer the conversation away from anything so pedestrian. Most diners admit defeat and submit themselves to the 'leave it to us' feast that seems to go on forever but always leaves one eager for more. We have been several times and the food has always been stunning - worlds apart from the typical suburban Chinese and explosive with flavour. Not cheap but a place to go when something rather special is called for. My wife has asked me to take her there for her birthday treat.
