WooLot is a great local treasure! Food is always superb, fresh and hot. Fab portions. Lots of choice. Staff are very accommodating if anyone has dietary restrictions, and do their best to offer alternatives. Been coming here for about fifteen years. Never disappointed. Danny one of the waiters, is fantastic! Spot on with his attentiveness, very cheeky and funny. Lovely guy. Fast service, and always with a smile!
Go and enjoy great food at fantastic prices. Re parking - handy cheap Car Park 2mins away down side of The Drum pub opposite on Lea Bridge Rd.

I have been to this restaurant about 4 times and each time I have come hone wanting more. The restaurant looks so basic u could easily decide not to go in but DO cos the food is delicious I took my mum and bro here as they are very fussy eaters they truely loved it and have been back since. Portions are massive, staff ok and price is great.. The other reviews are so old I wanted to give an up to date true account. Go for a visit its really worth it!!!

If you value your HEALTH do not go into this restaurant. The first time i came to this restaurant it was with my girlfriend and i, we just moved around the area so we thought hey, lets try this restaurant. placed an order for sweet and sour chicken and rice for my girlfriend and special fried rice for me and waited for quite a long time and after getting the food, we both went home and they messed up the orders, some disgusting chicken curry with no taste for my GF and my special fried rice was so dry and toatally white with no effort visibly put in to make it. i let that go. Today was the worse dinner ive ever had, just thought my GF and i just thought lets give it another go because they might have got it wrong the first time, everybody makes mistakes. cut long story short. it was a nightmare, we paid £22 for rubbish food the sauces were so bad ( special chow mein, crispy duck pancakes, spare ribs)

please do not waste your money and time.

Avoid this Restaurant!!!
We went in as a party of 4, One of the individuals in our group my partner ordered a chicken curry, The waitress took our order and we paid and they brung back a prawn curry, My partner does not like prawns so we would never have ordered this, When we first gave our order to the waitress she read the correct order back to us and all 4 of us clearly heard that and there was no mention of any prawn curry in that read back.
Which is fine mistakes happen nobody is perfect but when we went up politely to say to them that they had given us the wrong curry we recieved nothing but abuse from them they became very defensive and hostile and rude towards us, No appologies or offer of any replacements we just ate our meal and left, If I had of been on my own I would have made more of an argument about it but as we had company it was more awkward to. It pretty much put a downer on our whole evening out.

I have never faced such a poor service like this restaurant. The staffs are totally descriminating Asian. Their smiling faces are shown only to non-Asian. I have been seating for half an hour & just been told that we have to order the food at the counter. But once non-Asian step in the store, the staffs will quickly jump out with their menu & welcoming face. Thank you will never say to Asian. I am sorry to say that, but please look at your own face, you are just ASIAN, not European or British, so please stop this attitude when dealing with Asian face customer. If you look like Asian, better don't go to avoid getting angry!

Service is great. people is good. whatever you order the food is on your table in under 5 mins. The only little thing I dislike is the view.
