Lovely family run French restaurant situated on Newington Green.
Have been several times over the last few years and found the food to be delicious and very reasonably priced (wine is also well-priced).
Had been getting a bit bored with their old menu, so was happy to see that they'd introduced a new menu in Feb 2012 - looking forward to trying it all out

This place used to be really good about 5 years ago. Since that time I have noticed a change in the produce resulting in less tastier food. I have not been here in about 2 years and do not think I will be back - shame.

One of the best restaurants in this area, without a doubt. Food never disappoints, nor does service. Chicken with spinach is always a winner, along with their gorgeous steak. I've taken lots of people here and none of them have had a bad word to say about it. Good prices. Desserts yummy. Only downside I would say is the acoustics of the venue itself - it can get a little unbearable when it gets too crowded and noisy. Other than that, its a definate thumbs up!

This place is a real treasure. The steaks are melt in the mouth fantastic. Good selection of fish and veggie dishes too. The red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes are pretty special side dishes and the desserts are lush. I'm a fan! Any excuse to go. Seems to do very well every night of the week. Definitely book for Friday and Saturday nights.
