This place is the nuts 10 out of 10 and the manager Ali is an absolute legend. BEST CURRY IN SOUTH LONDON

I'm not convinced about the negative comments on here as I've never had a bad meal here and the owner and staff are lovely...also (and this is to the person who says its always late - why do you keep reordering "time after time" if its always late? Doesn't ring true.)

I live locally to this restaurant and have had 3 great meals there and a good takeaway. The staff are lovely! Would recommend to anyone. Really good value for money too.

Am a little sceptical of previous great reviews..same person ? I have ordered 6.25 p.m. on a Sunday. Arrived at 7.05 all good so far....Oh dear..Naan and stuffed paratha ok..onion bhaji 6 / 10...curry tasteless 3/10. Get a proper chef. Asked for a hot madras..it was hot..but the cook does not know how to make a real curry. SORRY.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT - they give me beer and poppadums whilst I wait for my takeout!! I am always welcomed warmly by the owner - like an old friend - who then leaves me to quietly enjoy my food, not pestering like some over zealous restaurant managers! I can highly recommend the dahl - it is excellent. Everyone should try Battersea Tandoori at least once.

Don't know what the person below is talking about. An absolutely superb indian restaurant. Very nice, polite and welcoming staff. Food is outstanding. Atmosphere pleasant. Can highly recommend the Chicken Korai. Ali the owner is extremely hospitable and always greets all his greets his. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and they deliver aswell. Highly recommended.

Quite awful. Always deliver the wrong food. Acceptable during busy restaurant times. So we decided to order in and pick up.

Battersea Tandoori is a fantastic restaurant. Great service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere but above all BRILLIANT food. Exceptional standard and extremely good value. I have been to many Indian restaurants in London and I rate this one as number 1.
