Absolutely loved this place! I'm from out of town and staying nearby the Aldgate East stop and heard there were good Indian places in the area and stumbled upon this one online. It was the only one that didn't need a reservation, and am I glad all the other places were full! It was relaxing, the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! If I ever come back to London, this will be one of the first places I'll come back to!

The Garlic Chicken appetizer was great and the Naan bread was perfection, not to mention my chicken dish was juuuust right and bursting with flavor. Don't miss out on this quant and flavor-filled restaurant!

Have been dining here for 10 years, and for the last 3 years we have held our Christmas curry night here on demand of all my work colleagues.
Food is excellent, some of the best well prepared fresh food you can find
frontage is unassuming, but once inside you are welcomed by friendly staff and a broad menu that seems to define the size of the restaurant.
Garlic chicken is a stunner for starter or maincourse (marinated for 24hours, then cooked on the bone)
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant its well worht the 2 minute detour form Brick Lane . . . you wont be disapopinted and you wont go back !
enjoy

This place is seriously underrated. I went there not expecting much since many of the brick lane area restaurants claiming to be the best curry houses in london left me decidedly unfulfilled and out of pocket! This was one of the best meals I have had recently and the staff were actually genuinely very friendly. The food was all fresh even though it was pretty busy. We love the chicken Tikka! I glad I found this place , definitely the best Indian restaurant in E1 without over exaggerating or succumbing to hyperbole as is characteristic of many restaurant reviews. Thanks, Dan, E1.

Not expensive, but food is better than most of the Indian restaurants in the city. Has become my first choice to take clients who want indian food.
