Copper Chimmney is Gr8

I have been going there for well over 5 yrs now. My family & I trully appreciate the helpful attentative attitude. We have no complaints whatsover, when you are there u feel in comfort and most of all the food is just mouth watering. I knw my food v well and I must say having met both the management and the headchef I have nothing but to compliment their achievement.

Yes I understand people have different voice of opinion when it comes 2 food but the Al La Carte is a MUST as the fod comes to meet all your needs.

The food we would diffinately recommend would be the following:-

Chilly Panner Sizzler
Baby Lamb Chops
Chilly Mogo
Lamb off bone Punjabi Style
Shish Kebabs
Chicken Tikka

These are just a few to talk about. There ae many more but there is not enough time and space to write all about.

This place is a family atmosphere and really enjoyable.

There is also a fantastic new CHINESE MENU which we have tried and it beats most other chinese restaurants Indian style, SPICY !!!.

You have to try it to believe it. !!!

Enjoy either b4 or after a movie.

My kids love it which is why we always end up there when going out.

my first time in this indian buffet. i must warn other customers out there! this is not the place to eat to wine and dine or even for a quick meal! the food is extremely nasty! honestly. im not even lying. im asian myself so i do no about indian food as my mums cooks it everyday. there is no selection of food there yet they state they have 12 dishs. they only have 1 chicken dish and the rest are cheap dishes eg chick peas, lentils etc. i think this place makes good money as you are actually gettin ripped off. i dont understand how people have given this place a good rating. have these people probably haved never tasted real indian food? i dont even want to talk about this place any further. go to the restaurant opposite its called 'Aroma' and its much better! tho it is chinese. hope my advice helps!

Went here with my sister after a movie (the 12-screen cinema is right beside it).

The place itself is nicely lit, the seating is arranged nicely.

The staff were all friendly - some might say a bit ott - but it was nice.

The music was a soothing backdrop.

Onto the main part: the food.. - it was delicious. I got a Paneer-something. It was a cheese dish with naan bread and veg. Also tried some rice and some interesting dessert. All were enticing and scrupmtious.

Price-wise - not cheap but not too expensive either.

Good place overall - can't wait to go there again.

Having been going to this restaurant for a number of years now, I have nothing but priase for it. The food is outstanding, the staff are more than happy to accommodate our needs. And best of all it is great value for money!!!

Buffet is trully value for money.

I would strongly recommend others to try it. The Al La Carte is best if you do not wish for a buffet. The best dishes are Lamb Chops, Chilly Paneer, Baby Lamb, and the black dal.

Why not give them a try.

This is our favourite one. We generally go there every other Friday night when there is a dj, who i must say is good. The food is fantastic so is the manajor. The place is fabulous and so is the food. The staff are polite and attend to you straight away. Try the lamp chops or the chilli paneer its just mouth watering. infact everythig we've tried we simply love.

I have eaten at Copper Chimney for the last four years and I think its about time I start raving about it.
Where should I begin? Should I start with the succulent lamb chops that go perfectly with lasooni naan and garlic chilli sauce? Or should I go on with delicacies such as Kadi Pakoda that reminds you of home cooked food?
Copper Chimney has the most diverse menu as compares to all the Indian Restaurants I have been to, including the much hyped Veeraswami's.
The dosas and utthapams make an ideal snack whereas the buffet is excellent value for money and is an excellent choice when you are in a rush to catch a movie at Cineworld next door.
Overall, Copper Chimney Rocks!

I tried out the Copper Chimney restaurant with my wife in Wood Green 'Shopping City' and found it very good. The lunchtime buffet was great value, around £7 per person with the various dishes changed regularly so that they remained fresh. The staff were helpful and friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, people from all walks of life seemed to be in there enjoying the food. I felt welcomed, we stayed for quite a while and despite it being busy they were happy for us to stay as long as we wanted. After the hustle and bustle of shopping, eating the indian food there was a pleasant and relaxing way to recharge the batteries. Will definitely go again.

Horrible. Pathetic. There are no words to describe how awful this restaurant is. I could see the mice running under my table and cockroaches passing by the buffet counter. The food is horrible and the service is very unfriendly. The so called Manager don't even know how to behave with the customers. My overall experience was very bad. In fact I have never dined in more hopeless restaurant than this.

Copper Chimney offers excellent value for money, especially for their buffet menu which includes 26 items at £6.99 for lunch from 12:00 until 18:00; dinner is served thereafter at £9.99 until 23:00. The cuisine is north Indian and includes a number of tandoori dishes. They also have a south Indian chef who produces south Indian dishes. I have visited the restaurant on a number of occasions and highly recommend it. The service is good and the hygene in the kitchen, that I was allowed to visit, impeccable.

It is the worst ever restaurant i have ever visited. First the service was very slow. I had to ask 4 times to be served water. It looked like an empty restaurant at 8 o clock in the evening but the waiting staff was not able to cope up and the manager was serving himself. The waiters are not to be blamed the manager was literly throwing the stuff on the table. After a bad food and an extremly poor service wen we refused to pay the service charge the manager started shouting and said "pay the service charge and get out" it was the most horrible experience i ever had. I have been to numerous indian restaurant and the service is always 5 star unlike this one. This one cannot be indian.
