We live nearby and there are a lot of quite excellent indian restaurants in sw13 and sw14. In my view this is the best, and quite possibly the best in South London.
The food is imaginative, fresh and well-presented.
My wife is a coeliac and the staff were able to advise her on the content of every dish, without hesitation. Every sauce and dish is made fresh and therefore they could swap individual ingredients as and when necessary
To find such an excellent restaurant that can cater with ease for those with a allergies is really fantastic.
As you will see from the website menu, it is not the usual 'chicken massalla' fare. The Appam is superb and the green banana coconut and beetroot side-dishes are worth treating your taste-buds.
We mostly use their take-away service and the decor leaves something to be desired (although some might like it). I'm not sure the ambience is its strongest suit, but it's perfectly ok.
But the food makes up for it, without a doubt. Go - you won't be disappointed!
