The best Indian food in London - genuinely. We live a 5 minute walk away from Hot Stuff so visit fairly regularly and have eaten lots off the menu. The location seems off putting at first but don't be put off. There is a really eclectic mix of customers, students, city types, Indian families, couples - the whole range. The service is outstanding and the menu fantastic. They have an open kitchen so you can watch your food being cooked and prepared. The food itself is what its all about though - amazing! I am a massive curry fan and being from Birmingham have been raised on curry so finding hot stuff was fantastic. I have eaten curry all over the place in London but Hot Stuff is by far the best. Brick lane doesnt even come close, I really mean that. The prices are amazing too - My fiance and I always have starters, mains, rices, pappadoms with chutney and sometimes side dishes too and have never spent more than £25 between us. When I heard about it I didnt believe that the reviews could be so accurate but if you love great curry and good sized portions go there!

This is a fantastic place to eat. It's friendly staff and great menu make you remember what it was like before London became a place full of All Bar Ones and Pizza Expresses. When I told the waiter it was my first time there he told me to sit back and relax, he would choose the menu for me. Great sized portions of lovely food. A real mix between Indian and African. It's BYOB which keeps in with the very informal tone to the place. Highly recommend.
