When Bombay Palace opens after a massive refurbishment in June this year, it will see the iconic dining institution restored to its rightful place at the heart of London’s Indian restaurant scene.
The new look Bombay Palace near Marble Arch will be a dramatic and glamorous destination dining room boasting bold lighting features, glossy dark wood and sumptuous fabrics in deep purple to offset the crisp white linen at every table. The restaurant has also been given a makeover behind the scenes where a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen will allow the restaurant’s chefs to cook to perfection the delicious authentic regional Indian dishes that brought the restaurant fame when it first opened its doors in 1981.
Bombay Palace, now with eight branches across the world from Kuala Lumpur to Beverly Hills, New York and Toronto is perhaps best known for its tandoori specialities featuring marinated poultry, meats and vegetables all delicately grilled in the clay oven to seal the marinades and enhance the natural flavours of the ingredients.
