i was disappointed with the taste, the tarka dal taste was so basic, very less flavouring, it seems we can cook better at home. If i would have liked the food i would have ordered for 30 takeways for my home birthday party. They lost the business because of they poor quality food.

The peas in the matar paneer dish felt they had been quickly defrosted and mixed with some supermarket korma masala paste. It did not taste like authentic Indian Bangladeshi cuisine. I felt price of 2 samosas at £3.35 was too high; there was no chutney and they didn't taste exceptionally great.

We went to Dipali for Valentines Day, and I have to admit it ruined my evening...We already had a booking for 8pm...by the time we ordered our food, it was 8.30pm....We had not even received our starters by 9.45pm. When I complained about leaving without eating to the waiter, he brought our starter within 5 minutes...and by 10pm we received our main course...although we ordered 3 different curries (lamb, chicken and prawns, all with different sauce), we received all curries with the same sauce...The curries looked like, the chef had mixed a few pieces of chicken or lamb with chilli powder and water...They were all tastleless and very very very hot...I am definetely not going back!!
